The report highlights that the sales-to-active listings ratio for April 2023 was 37.9%, which is a 13.8% increase compared to the same period last year. The benchmark price for all residential properties in Greater Vancouver also saw a significant increase of 17.4% compared to April 2022. The report also suggests that market conditions are favouring sellers, as there is a shortage of listings and strong competition among buyers, resulting in multiple offers and high selling prices.
